Ok thank you for that. I looked at the most recent press releases that were vague about the spinoff. I didn't see that 2017 one. Since it's been a year since they announced it I can definitely see them announcing that they were unable to complete and S-1 and they are going to reverse merge.
It's just a theory due to the timelines matching. Time will tell what he is doing with the VLNX shell. I would just as soon see something else come in.
