I've been specifically speaking about Risk or earnings being a gamble more than usual here with CLDX among the penny stock style priced biotechs (that don't make net profits).
On the other hand, your reference is a general one overall that it is 'mostly a gamble' with all these types of stocks, and is different from my specific oriented conversational points.
If you actually think it is all just a gamble, then why trade in it to begin with if that's how you see it. Sounds like throwing money at a dart board blindly guessing in my view. {Just trying to be helpful}
Maybe your guess or gamble will pay off here after earnings are announced, but it's a risky & uncertain scenario with $CLDX is all I've been saying and not worth the risk to chance owning it thru earnings in this instance in my opinion.
I warned about .50+ needing to hold a while back and I was right there, but some people still kept holding despite deteriorating technicals.
