Anyone who knows enough stats to do what you do also knows that it is almost certainly a complete waste of time(small numbers, why bother, futile)

As Plenty correctly points out: these are statistical inferences based on assumptions. Correctly, he therefore caveats them heavily. This is helpful to reasonably anticipate what P2B results might be. They are not proof of anything and should not be viewed as such. Anyone saying "P2B results will be X because Y" is foolishly pumping or bashing.
