The Norwegian "I would much rather see all shares delivered back and O/S reduced to 25 million or less, than a minimum share dividend which is so small it only puts a floor at 30c." I am not able to see that this comparison makes any sense. Of course it would be nice if the OS was reduced by almost 50%. This can only be done in a world of make-believe I think. It would take a lot of time and money to buy back 17 million shares in the market. SIAF does not have the money to do that.

But I agree that there is not much point in "promising" a dividend that puts a floor at 30 cents. When the "promised" cash dividend has not resulted in a higher pps one reason is probably that the market is not convined that this cash dividend is an assured thing. Based on what has happened in the past I understand the scepticism of the market in this respect. The cash dividend should have been quarterly and at least 5 cents per quarter. I don't think that will happen as long as Solomon rules.

Doesn't seem fair to ask them to use cash to buy back shares when there is no cash on the balance sheet.
