Huh? Don't follow you here... I never shorted any stock was my answer to your question.
I only invest long term into them. Not a daytrader type at all. Never was.
Now, I used to be a futures trader years ago and shorting is a relevant part of that industry, but I feel it has ruined the equities industry being allowed to go on the the extent it does, plus naked shorting, and brokers and brokerages condoning back room practices that are supposed to be illegal...
Me and many others used to complain to SEC even regarding TD Ameritrade and its platform as we would see weird things going on and orders changes and tickers altered and disappearing orders, fill discrepancies from what we view live, etc and the brokerage of course, always says, it is not our fault and it must be on your end...
