Using that logic, why do any pharmas of branded products continue manufacturing the brand at all when cheaper generics are finally allowed, approved, and launched?

Why can I go into Walmart, Target, etc. right now and find branded Tylenol when generic Acetaminophen is sitting right next to it on the shelf and has been available for years?
