Like I said a very good chance it may be lower. I agree with you on what you read. I see you do some good DD. Here you go... I sent this to old IR at CTEQF he is now CFO .... "
Ben what is this scrubbing ? Is 99.9% equal to 99.9% or can one be scrubbed better then another. I think this is BS...What do you think.

"The percent purity is a factor in determining pricing, but a lot of the purchase cost depends on the specs required by the purchaser. Take as example Bloom Energy buying scandium for fuel cells. I do not know their specific product specs, but I think it is highly likely that even a 99% or 99.9% product will have impurities that need to be removed. I think the term used is "scrubbed". The more scrubbing a company needs to do to get a product that meets their specs, the lower the cost of buying that particular scandium product. Conversely, if there is minimal or no scrubbing required, the purchase cost they are willing to pay goes up. This is why even scandium with the same purity grade of 99.9% can be priced differently because the purchaser could have one product needing a lot of scrubbing and one product needing little or no scrubbing."

Here was his reply... "

"Scrubbing is another chemical purification process. Different users may do different things to it prior to putting it into their alloys or fuel cells or whatever. However, if your product achieves 99.9pc purity you will be getting the full price."
