SORRY, BUT WELCOME TO PINKY LAND! The persons in question would simply be INDEPENDENT PAID CONSULTANTS! There is nothing even remotely illegal about this sort of arrangement! Hell, I know of several companies where the CEO's and CFO's are in fact not employees, but INDEPENDENT PAID CONSULTANTS!
