Use E Trade for pennies - never an issue ....

that's pretty crazy to have additional fees for more than a mil shares.

You need to switch if that's the case.

You might be able to call in the order for more than a million shares and get them to give you the 4.95 online commission rate.

Speaking of which, paying another 4.95 isn’t going to kill you. Commissions are peanuts these days.

Just split your order and pay the extra 4.95!
