I think the market is aware the company has spidersilk and can mass produce it.
I think because of hype around many of the spidersilk companies has come up empty the market is waiting on proof that someone actually wants our spidersilk.

I think it's the other way around. The demand for stronger fibers is high.
The market is waiting for someone to be able to mass produce at a competitive price in a quality consistent manner.

No one has proven they can.
