I'm a chartist. I have self created formulas I use to buy stocks, called scans. The formulas are created using indicators based on stock price action.

My scans and charts tell me what to buy and sell, respectively.

Most trades I have only last for a few days or possibly weeks, to take advantage of small windows or spurts of upwards price movement.

I don't make trade decisions solely based on news or financials, if ever really.

My charts and scans and rules have to back my decisions.
