hey gurl, love the oilology phrase! I'm with you on getting back into old wells. We have 30,000 of them sitting idle in KY and another 100,000 in surrounding states. I'm working on new technology to make them viable again.

The old ZN wells were plugged at considerable cost to protect the environment. Not sure exactly what that means in Israel, but it can mean filling with cement. Drilling through cement can be easier than rock, but the drillers I know would rather drill a new well than go into a plugged one because the plugged one offers unknown obstacles. So, the cost of reentry plus the opportunity in the Jordan Valley means offset wells around MJ#1 will be the focus for the foreseeable future.

BTW, do you know the first year you bought ZN stock?
