All he said was that he had meetings with the automakers. He never said any deals were made. I'm impressed that even even talked to them. The prospects were exciting at the time but in hindsight the automakers were a super long shot at best. Shareholders, including me, are the one's that pumped these meetings up, not Steve. Not everybody needs this app and putting it in cars on the manufacturing line really doesn't make sense unless the app has been upgraded to do diagnostics as well. Steve was already out there making deals with all kinds of other places at the time so this being a cover up for not landing an automaker doesn't make sense to me. Who knows? There still may be a deal with one of them. I'm curious to see who these private labels are for.
