#46930 RE: RussTheBus #46929

Partly a hobby, partly curiosity, and mostly a distaste for nonsense. I will admit a little greed as well. I am well positioned IF lightning strikes. Actually, that is a misnomer. The probability of a lightening strike is approximately 1 in 100,000. The probably of winning a national lottery is 1 in many millions. Our odds here are much better than that.

What are they? No one can say with any certainty. A "lightening strike" for GERS' common shareholders involves many facets. To name a few: wining the appeal, having the patents validated, receiving a large damage award (direct and possibly punitive), the fact of winning the appeal and its details (especially financial) becoming public knowledge, KK bringing GERS into compliance with SEC filing requirements, KK not immediately announcing his plans for the windfall, the appellees not finding a way to drag out proceedings for years, ...

Of course, the lightening strike is a huge increase in the PPS. The definition of "huge" is individually defined and also depends on market access to buying GERS online.

My handicap (hunch), perhaps as high as 1 in 5 for that all needs to happen, happens. That would translate into a 80% chance of failure. But poker players would state those as tremendous "pot odds", as do I, fully recognizing that even as of this date failure of a lightening strike is much greater than one occurring.
