The theory of Gaps is that they are self fulfilling prophecies. Technical traders believe they must(or will) fill before going forward, thus they trade on this belief. This does not go against fundamental DD. It simply is part of the tickers life. At this point I think technical traders are going to be bearish until those Gaps are filled. How it goes will be determined by who is trading it the most, the tech's or the fundamentalist.
After the Gaps fill, that tension (in the techies mind) is gone and they can resume being bullish.
