On any "scam" the question is who actually profits? Like Cytr it can be management but here its those that buy the offerings. Amedica has real products, reduces costs where it can, has a sustainable business model (once revenues come in), and management doesnt profit from shares being sold.
HMNY & GBSN are examples of companies with viable products/service but neither have sustainable business models and neither do anything to reduce G&A bloat. As such they will have to print a ton of shares.
