I think what we need here is a verified and trustworthy unbiased 3rd party to evaluate the Parano protocol... If the patent was applied for there should be no need to hide any of the encryption code right?
If such an evaluation took place and became publicly verified would that give it more validity? I think it would... I guess we'll see if something like that takes place soon. If it doesn't i guess anybody's opinion on the proprietary protocol is just as valid as the next.
My bet is we have something very valuable here... JMHO.
