It seems every long investor needs a reason for everything, and everyone points fingers as to why they think the share price moves up or down. The reality is, nobody knows the reasons for the fluctuations, only that there are less buyers or sellers. The share price here didn't start coming down until this Monday, 5 trading days after the safety study announcement, so why would you think that's the cause, just because it's shortly after? The recent funding from institutional investor was great news, and share price didn't go up. Why? There simply isn't enough buying volume, more sellers than buyers, this is happening with 90% of stocks, why would owcp be part of the 10% and go higher?

If you follow 100 MJ stocks on a daily basis like I do, you would see these patterns. It's not coincidence that they all move up or down at the exact same time some days/weeks, over and over year after year. The market is like a living entity, it controls all the stocks however it wants making individual stock share prices unpredictable. I keep track of the entire sector buying vs selling every single day so that I can make these analysis, and I notice over and over that OWCP follows the same trends, while everyone is blaming the company or bashers or whatever. However, sometimes OWCP lags behind on the sector rally but always follows suit, as it has followed suit on the sector decline the last couple/few weeks.

In my opinion, pure speculation, based on past occurrences, it's my guess that if OWCP went under .20, it would set off alerts and triggers that many have set the past year because it has hit .20 3 times without breaking it, and then would quickly go lower before going into another rally. Today it hit .16, I don't know if that was the bottom or not, but so far it's behaving exactly as I predicted, with only 1 problem - the sector is going down on low volume which means the market can still easily bring down this stock again. As much as I hate to admit it given this super low price, it can make a new low again very soon because there just aren't many buyers out there in the world this time of year.

I think your statements are true! Longs, including me were not pleased to hear about a second part to the safety study! Some screamed out loud, and others hit the sell button in frustration causing this decline I think.

I'm holding my core position for years to come. Next week I haul a good amount of my corn into the elevator and if this remains at these levels I will become a big buyer.
