Check out who is the owner of FinancialTimes for extra novel material. Consider possible change of policies in Israel under different US Preisdent, as well as Israel approach to be on good terms with both side of the bipartisan aisle to push for Golan recognition bill. I love your theories. and you may be spot on given the nature of the region politically. the only concern I would have is that if the Golan region is sensitive to oil recovery would the Israeli government have even allowed drilling there in the first place. I can see the benefit in knowing the resource is there but to know it's there and being unable to capitalize on it is near impossible to believe.

but keep the cards and letters and theories coming. it is great reading. it has opened my eyes even wider than they already were.
