It will become more costly to pay a 5c dividend if the O/S continues to go up. That's a sign they don't expect it to go up by much.
That's what DRYS did btw. Announce a fixed $2.5M quarterly cash dividend. But because they were diluting 100% every few months or so, there wasn't much left for the shareholders. The Savage One multiplied 100 times. Yes, it's possible. And despite all they did... despite all the damage they caused to shareholders, that stock is still trading at 50% of book value. 25x higher than SIAF.
Martin It is a lie that they are issuing shares weekly. There was recenty a period of several weeks with no shares issued. It is pure speculation on your part at shares are issued to pay for operations. It could be that from now on enough cash will be generated to pay the dividend in December at the same time as what operations cost is paid for. Nobody knows at this stage if this is possible or not.
