First of all, it was "reported" that he said he'd probably sign the bill a long time ago, so this is not news. Secondly, the White House had many other problems with the bill when it was passed by the Senate - https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/saphr2s_20180626.pdf Thirdly,approval of this bill will not win him a second term, nor will nonapproval lose him a second term. With all the enormous problems facing our country, i.e. immigration reform, North Korea denuclearization, World Trade issues, the changes needing to be made regarding NATO, among so many others, legalization of marijuana falls way down on the list if at all. This is a silly article. Marijuana legalization has nothing at all to do with the 2020 election. That's of course it actually does pass doubtful unless Trump takes up pot smoking himself and get signed by the POTUS and the entire country is walking around in a weed stupor. Then no one could possibly predict the outcome of the election because the electorate will have lost the ability to think. They'd probably forget to even go out and vote.
