Take a look at GAIN it’s on fire paying 14 times a year

Why is GAIN doing well lately? I suspect they've increased their leverage. It's already fairly high and regulators recently allowed BDCs to use more debt, which works well in good times (like now) and then blows ups the next time a "Great Recession" comes around... and they always do.

Note too that GAIN is pretty small with a market cap of just $400 million so you can expect its results to fluctuate greatly.
