Personally, I've never been a fan of trying to pick the bottom. I much prefer buying a stock just breaking through a resistance and riding it up for a bit. Too often, that stock going down, is doing so for a good reason, and especially with a dividend stock. Many end up halting their dividend and then what do you have?
The trend is your friend.
and I do see MMLP has already cut their dividend by quite a bit.
