MB, this can happen with any company. God forbid but what if Bill Gates plane crashed or another Enron is baking or some one stole all of Googles accounts, hacked and downloaded. We can't look at investments this way or we'll always be missing out.
But if this is your comfort level then this is your comfort level. You know there is a device kinda like a sell phone that allows you to keep track of your trades. I think its about $30 or so a month. I forget what its called off hand. But this way you can check your stocks periodically throughout the day. One call to your broker. It only takes seconds. I can't remember if it alerts you or not?...........Just a thought.
Believe me this can happen with the biggest of stocks. Go to work and it was $50 all looked great, the news was great, earnings reported were terrific.......Come home and its $20.
