I think lover boy’s $25000 that went down with the ship is likely all in one place. If it was all in $20 double eagles that would be 1250 coins. It’s prolly more coins than that.

Looking forward to what’s in store for the rest of the year.

Note: Lover boy is the guy who wound up marrying the woman who stood to inherit $200K. They floated on a make shift raft for 3 or 4 days.

I erred in my previous post.....sort of.

The double eagles were not minted until after the Pulaski sank. That means lover boy's stash would likely be thousands of coins. Plus, his fortune is likely to be in one spot.

$25K would equal 5000 half eagles.

Now that would make for a great day, huh?
