Mainly through risk management. I'm young, for one, so I can feel comfortable having a fair amount of risk in this game. But my average price per share is comfortably low for me, such that any significant recovery (over $3 pps) will be a handsome gain for me at this point. Other than that, I'm working my (and my wife's) student loan debts down, and we don't have a luxurious lifestyle.
So if my investment in ADXS disappeared tomorrow, I won't feel compelled to find a tall building. It's an investment I still feel confident in, but one that I'm prepared to lose on.
