It doesn't. PODRAS doesn't do anything at all until the 3rd tablet.

OK. You are right. Podras does only cut effect of three tablets to two and half of conventional tablets.

Still the situation is same. Everyone who intends to abuse it, will not accept getting effect of 2½ tablets while payment is made for 3 tablets.

It's enough if the price/effect is *somehow* not as attractive for abuse user compared to a conventional product. Street value will be lower etc.

That's what Purdue needs now. A product which is at least a bit better than competitive products.
