Dear Judge Brown:
This of?ce represents KBM Worldwide, Inc. the plaintiff in the above entitled
action. The defendants, Hangover Joe’s Holding Corporation (“the Corporate
Defendant”) and Matthew Veal (“the Individual Defendant”) originally appeared in this
action and interposed an answer by counsel, to wit, Lindenbaum & Young, P.C. (ECF
13). However, by Order dated March 6, 2017 defendants’ counsel withdrew as attomey.
Neither party has since retained counsel.
On April 24, 2017 the Corporate Defendant was held in default and this of?ce was
directed to ?le a motion for default judgment. That motion was ?led on May 3, 2017
(ECF 33). By Scheduling Order dated December 4, 2017 District CourtJudge Feuerstein
then directed a hearing to be held on January 9, 2018 atwhich time the motion was to be
decided and a pre-judgment conference held with the plaintiff and the Individual

By Order Reassigning Case dated January 8, 2018 this case was re-assigned to
District Court Judge Spatt, who referred the motion for a default judgment to Your
Honor. The motion remains pending.
However, the pre-trial conference between the plaintiff and the Individual
Defendant was never re-scheduled and needs to be conducted so that a trial can be
scheduled. Accordingly, we respectfully request that the pre-trial conference be
scheduled at a date and time convenient to the Court.
