Without rehashing all the previous discussion about scandium grades, trace contaminants, and end-user product specs, I think Niocorp plans to produce 99.99% purity. At the end of the day, it is very difficult for any of us to make comparisons because it it difficult to ascertain what are true "apples to apples". Yet, it is valid to compare the cost and pricing estimates as long as we understand, we may be comparing costs for two very different products.
I think a nice analogy can be drawn to diamonds. Two diamonds of the same carats can vary widely in price because of other factors such as clarity and cut. Although they are the same size, the lower cost one cannot legitimately be used to suggest the higher cost one is overpriced. All JMO. Ultimately, the market will determine the price for whatever products each of the two companies produce.
