This part=probably true:after 7-8 failed-attempts-to-patent-Ecrypt, likely took the most saleable/ patentable parts and reconfigured the thing into something new, IDK if this thing has a patent though, if not how will they prevent its alleged uniqueness.

That doesn't mean it doesn't have value, just that it wasn't considered unique enough to patent apparently and the legal costs of trying again and again must've inspired a different approach. That is NOT necessarily a bad thing! Tenacity is GOOD: but people are saying that Tommy's lack of humility and self-entitlement put them off. So he actually has to work HARDER to achieve something.

"If you don't succeed, try again, and again" might work out finally.
