Wow, just listened to the conference call for the first time. I am completely stunned. I heard Joey came across poorly, however I had no clue how bad it actually was. It is astonishing that he felt it was appropriate to carry himself the way he did.
Finally they have a call intended to alleviate some of the concerns of shareholders, however Joey did just the opposite by displaying such a poor attitude towards his shareholder base
Phil came across as a true professional. It is just a matter of time before he disassociates himself with Joey and GIGL. It was very clear that Phil was also disgusted with Joey's attitude on the call. Just like Jillian, Phil will realize that associating with Joey is damaging to one's reputation.
If Joey has any sense at all, he would split his salary and give the other half to Phil. At least that way Phil would be getting compensation other than worthless stock. There truly seems to be no incentive for Phil to stick around.
