Genie said they know the oil is in the 30 meter deep formation but they would have to test it to see if it could be recoverable on a commercial scale. Around that time the political situation became tense because Genie's discovery was on the Golan Heights so they put everything on hold. They may be setting up to test now based on a recent PR Genie did.
