Lvl 2 is basically where you can get an idea of how much someone or something (market makers) are on the bid or the ask.

When someone says “thin” it means there isn’t much on either the bid or the ask meaning their aren’t any big bids in or any big asks

Does that make sense?

This is a good sign meaning it won’t take much volume to move the stock
