Investors obviously feel the same way. Since AMD didn't set the bar correctly, Wall Street lowered it for them. It will be easier to meet Wall Street expectations this way, but I think it's possible that AMD can miss even these lowered expectations.

If I had put options I would hold until after Dec 14. That is when the ATI crap will hit the fan. It will be a great opportunity for AMD to do all sorts of financial wiggling on that day, but I think Wall Street will not be taken in. We will see.
