That is the one thing from the Open house that threw me for a loop. Seeing 50-100 people at the open house all working on or rooting for sharetv to be a success. Not stock traders...real life people whose hopes and dreams and careers are all tied up in making theshare.tv a success. We forget that sometimes to us it just becomes 4 letters on a level 2 screen.
John gave a speech before they screened some of the new show promos. It reminded of this scene I saw in a movie...it went something like this.
Some men draw a circle and in that circle is their wife and children. They look out for the people in their circle.
Other men draw a bigger circle and in that circle they bring in their brothers and sisters and their families as well and they look at for them.
Other men draw an even bigger circle. They bring in their neighbors...all the people in their village and they look out for them. You have to decide what type of man you want to be.
The biggest takeaway from the open house is John is drawing a very big circle and he is filling it with a lot of talented ambitious hard working people.
