Think in terms of a small pack of Emergen-C or any such drink and the difference in volume once mixed with water. Sachets for Brilacidin rinse will allow for lower shipping fees in addition to allowing pharmacies and hospitals to order larger quantities without considering shelf space as an issue. It will even be easier on trial sites.

From a patient perspective it will also be easier to pick up small packages rather than numerous bottles. Sachets simply streamline the storage issues and remove some practical concerns. Now that I think about it, I wonder what the shelf life is once mixed? That may be another reason for sachets. Time will tell.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Prurisol and ignore most of what is posted about it other than on the company site. If only they had posted a bit more. I'd like to have seen the company explain why the interim was canceled. At least, we should have results soon.

My wish is for FDA to allow a ph4 for Brilacidin OM and get it out to patients quickly. OM is such a miserable condition. Patients families should hound the FDA to consider it since the preferable treatment for many head and neck cancer patients is higher dosages that appear to have done well with Brilacidin OM.
