The issue isn't whether or not APS needs a "certification" to sell or rent digEplayers (I don't believe they do), but whether or not both APS and e.Digital are being honest in claiming that APS has some sort of certification to sell to airlines. If they don't, the claim is a blatant lie.

I called the number on the new dig4eplayer web site and simply asked what certification they were referring to. The person who answered the phone refused to tell me. I asked him if he was Bill Boyer and he said he may or may not be but would not discuss certification.

Therefore, I continue to believe that both APS and e.Digital are making false claims about this. It's just more evidence of the consistent embellishment of reality behind the hype.
