I recall the presser back in 16 mentioning the VR patent, but obviously they realized taking it to the masses was more lucrative. Very intresting where this goes now. My biggest question is,.. Will BH remain a penny share salesman? Or will he finally become a real CEO with a real industry disruptor? History is not in his favor, but stranger things have happened.
If it actually works (works well), this would make V.R. creation affordable to the average person. I have read the patent a couple of times and understand the image capturing and reflection process, but what is unclear is the final 360* image processing and transport vehicle used. If the final 360* image could be processed to a phone via a bluetooth connection/application which in-turn relayed the data to the phone storage or a live upload...that would be impressive and a game changer.
