The fins should be simply filed on or before the due date, regardless of what that day happen to be. Filing for extension should not be part of the normal practice but some companies use it as such and risk shareholders discomfort, but in the OTC world, it is an acceptable practice. Company can file for extension tomorrow and release Q2 on Monday, but my preference is to just release tomorrow before EOD. That is the best timing for it.
