this excerpt on the PROPOSED reverse split has me intrigued:

"In evaluating the reverse stock split, our Board also took into consideration negative factors associated with reverse stock splits. These factors include the negative perception of reverse stock splits held by many investors, analysts and other stock market participants, as well as the fact that the stock price of some companies that have effected reverse stock splits has subsequently declined back to pre-reverse stock split levels. Our Board, however, determined that these potential negative factors were significantly outweighed by the potential benefits, and believes that by increasing the per share market price of our common stock as a result of the reverse stock split may encourage greater interest in our common stock and enhance the acceptability and marketability of our common stock to the financial community and investing public as well as promote greater liquidity for our stockholders."

TRT$ had bloated OS and needed to do rs to make a room to accommodate shares to be reserved for financing deal for enormous amount that they sigmed on a day of rs... I'll be looking forward to see their next Q to see how much $ they pulled out of this financing and converted...
They have very similar market caps.. BUT
CVSI has much cleaner balance sheet..
AND amazing growth rate (over 100% increase in sales Q1 2017- Q1 2018) while TRT$ had like 15% or so as much as I remember...
And on a top of that CVSI has massive profit margin. Compare their gross profit and you will see where you want to put your money long term..

from the pre-14a, it was 9 months before trtc actually split - in that time, it moved from 0.255 day of first announcement to a high of 0.625 at end of year! You can re-assess in the fall if you must, but its also possible they don't even need to RS! They stated a planned uplist in Q3 - that makes it clear that is their goal here, not to 'attract' different investors like they officially worded it, strictly to get that 4-5 level and hold it for minimum days. They may be able to do that organically for all we know!

Also, trtc has a terrible business model and didn't split to uplist...big difference to what CVSI has to offer. Don't forget based on shares o/s, a 1:2 or 1:3 would be a perfect spot for them as structure goes (30-50 would be ideal new listing) - not like they are trying to erase a billion shares.

It's an August VOTE for the amendment (4). NOT a RS yet.

What was the reason for the TRTC reverse stock split. I believe the reason is very important. And TRTC is one of those heavily diluted pot stocks...I checked it (TRTC) couple of weeks ago and I couldn't continue reading.. Lost interest from being used to better financial reports... So think about that.
CVSI management talked about Up-listing and they are moving forward and getting ready. I like that in any management even though I would prefer to up-list without a RSS. And like someone else and myself mention it here before, it might not be necessary.(If they can wait another 6 months). They are just reserving the right to do so if they seem its necessary and the timing is right.
I'm glad they are moving forward and getting the option in case they feel it's the best move when they decide to do it.
I am new with this "reverse split for up-listing" maneuver, so I would like to hear from other seasoned investors....I said investors like in LONGS
