Like I said before, I certainly hope the House approves the bill with the amendments. For example, Manitoba and Quebec have said they want no home grow , ok. The next time there is a provincial election, the candidate that runs on a pro home grow position likely wins democratically, and voila! The public disclosure of shareholders concerns me because it is unprecedented and most likely violates privacy laws. I am semi relieved. Folks , remember, this is absolutely something to celebrate, but the most important vote, In the House of Commons to approve the bill as amended is on the Horizon. I’m honestly holding my breath for that. Hoping for the best.

Highlyyyyyy doubt that. The Senate was the bottleneck that concerned me for a period. The house should be a breeze.

i think there is only one amendment that may be refused by the commomns, i.e. the home cultivation thing for the provinces who do not want to legalise home pot.
if i were JT, i wouldnt care about this. he can save his face by saying that he doesnt want to interfere wioth provincial competences, he gets his bill through, and his name in history (and likely the pass for the next elections and another legislature). if he doesnt, things may get delayed and pass over summer. or it could make a transitory period where the legislation does not apply for the home pot and only for those provinces who do not want home pot... options he has are many with a house of commons all lib. we are at the end of the legalisation journey, a truly remarkable achievement. congratulations to Canada. and to WEED investors :))))
