Since you appear to be responding to my post, I have advocated that we communicate to the company respectfully, but also with the knowledge that there are a few of us with specific needs. This is an informal way of approaching company management about problems we are facing. I do believe that Sean and the others are definitely going to be listening if we get through to them- and that is best done collectively. This company is sophisticated enough to listen to and learn from shareholder suggestions. Most of them are probably in a new situation with this app and since they are smart people, they probably know they need feedback and will have to continually modify what they're doing by market feedback, feedback from users and feedback from investors..

In VMSI, you are dealing with a very new social networking app and finding the right method to find the right users and the right kind of investors is not something they wish to ignore. Corporations have to take into consideration their shareholders although this depends on the company. Why do you think that there are generally investor relations personnel in companies to handle problems with shareholders? Why do you think that certain somewhat more legal activities like shareholder resolutions that are gaining more ground? In fact, certain types of shareholder activism can change the fate of a company's existence.

But the only thing I am advocating is group talk- not being hostile, but asking for more communication. Do I think it will work? Probably. Worth trying- instead of what you call whining- or confessing total lack of influence like you do.

There are other, more conventional rules governing the general rights of shareholders. Look them up. In some cases, they can turn a company upside down. But here you are talking about whining and saying we are helpless. To be feel helpless is to feel totally without power. You are helpless but we don't need to be. We have a right to a voice. WE ARE SHAREHOLDERS!
