Am I correct that sometimes in the final stages of procurement the military requires changes, such that if one candidate has a tremendous generator concept and another candidate has several other advantages, then they push the latter to adopt the generator solution of the former?

I seem to remember something like this when I was invested in Force Protection (the company that came up with the v-shaped heavy transport to defeat improvised explosive devices in Irag). FRPT had the great idea, but not the capacity to produce in mass quantities, so the military forced some collaborations that made a ton of $$ for FRPT.

That stock was selling for less than cash on hand, despite having a great product and no debt. Talk about markets being irrational. I think I cleared $100K off that trade. ;-)

POLA isn't a slam dunk quite like that, but I believe we will be well over $12 a year from now.
