Evercore says memory pushouts likely to weigh on Lam's near-term shipments

Evercore ISI analyst CJ Muse said his recent checks suggest risk to Lam Research's near-term shipments due to pushouts from memory makers. He reduced his estimates for Lam, stating that calendar 2018 EPS is now tracking 7% below consensus, but added that he views this pause as only temporary and does not see this changing his long-term thesis given he expects a recovery in NAND memory capex into the end of the year and first half of 2019 timeframe. Muse thinks downside risk is limited and would be an "aggressive buyer" of Lam shares if this issue prompts a pullback, he added. He keeps an Outperform rating and $300 price target on the stock, which is down 3.75% to $192.13 in pre-market trading. :theflyonthewall.com

ICHR - LRCX and AMAT accounted for 93% of sales in 2017 .... just checked the 10K. Didn't realize their sales were that concentrated -

10K -

For 2017, our two largest customers were Lam Research and Applied Materials, which accounted for 53% and 40% of sales, respectively. We do not have long-term contracts that require customers to place orders with us in fixed or minimum volumes, and we generally operate on a purchase order basis with customers.
