Pardon my french as I know you understand Dr Alkon's science but that is the most clear example I may have seen of confirmation bias (ass backward as it is) to amyloid plaques being the cause of ALZ when its clear as a bell that its simply a symptom for those of us who know the science.

Seems like every single MOA presents an angle that gets at "neural" issues caused by what they feel is something that damages neurons/synapses. As Bill Engvall would say "here's your sign"...that is protect the neurons from ever being damaged and you won't see all these other symptoms. I read somewhere a few days ago that a poster would be happy if there drug just improves on SOC. Of course we all would, but that's not what is happening here. What's happening here is a shot at avoiding dementia altogether through neuroprotection. JMHO
