I have seen the same thing in the plumbing area. They don't even do a decent job of taping the package back up which is why I suggested looking over the package carefully.
Returns like that they really need to put on clearance with no returns.
And another tip for HD card holders when they have their no interest deals for a year on large items. Think about what else you may need and load up the shopping cart then have them ring it all up on the same slip. The total will be treated as no interest for a year.
