Not just anybody can short a penny or sub penny stock. There are some pretty strict and HIGH financial worth requirements that must be put up and confirmed with a brokerage before sub and penny stocks can be shorted by retail investors !! These are SEC requirements of their rules and regulations and have been in place for quite a few years.
To many posters think that just about anyone can short a sub and penny stock(s). Not f***ing true !!
