But this time around ... Probuphine has had a chance in the marketplace and it has failed. We can put forth reasons for the difficulties, but the fact is that it has failed in the real world. This is a potential hump that must be overcome for the next possible distributor. Clearly any new distributor will face difficulties that were not originally envisaged.

The best thing I see going for probuphine is that it seems to work ... but Braeburn was responsible for the study that could document this (so what happens to that study with Braeburn gone ? (presumably Titan has to do it) ... and even then sample size would be small ... so how significant ? )

On a positive note ... if it does work, there has to be a place for it.
