If it is fact that this trip was scheduled before the Santa Fe school shooting... who knows? Perhaps a opportune time to announce the building of the first refinery in over 40 years. Also, announce that some of the product will be shipped to Mexico. You remember, the country that will be paying for the building of the "wall".

I just don’t see the need for MMEX and Trump to have a meeting. It doesn’t necessarily help either party at this point in time.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see it, it just doesn’t make sense at the moment.
