It was higher than that. It got delisted from NASDAQ and at one point I think was 20 something a share.

RNVA was always a penny stock. It never traded for $8, AFAIK. Those big prices you see are distorted by reverse splits... two in 2017 alone. You can click back on this board a year or two and see what it actually traded for. Eventually NASDAQ delisted it for failing to hold the required $1 minimum price even after multiple reverse splits.

One year ago it was about 40 cents a share. There was a reverse in late 2017. RNVA has a terrible history.

This dreadful chart shows RNVA's ACTUAL trading price since the last reverse split in October 2017... a one for 15 RS. This collapse is what dilution does.
